Robert Keller: My Best Friend in College!

I am so sorry to hear of Bob's (Dr. Robert Keller) passing!

He was my roommate at Fordham University (Bronx, New York) and my best friend there. We did a lot of crazy things together!

He was at my wedding (to Barbara, whom he knew for many years).

We lost touch when I was in the military service, but recently connected. We were going to be in touch this last year after a 'lifetime' of missing each other, then I didn't hear from him.

I am so sorry we missed each other, Bob was a great friend and, obviously, wonderfully well known and well thought of.

Wow, Chuck! You knew Dr. Keller long before he was "Doctor" Keller.

What wonderful memories of your friendship and your time at Fordham University you must have!

I am sorry for your loss and not being able to catch up with your friend this past year.

I bet you had no idea while you and Robert Keller were in college, that your best buddy would one day be behind formulating a nutritional supplement that would impact the health and well-being of thousands (and one day millions) of people.

Like oftentimes happens, your lives went in different directions. Yet you both served your country in different ways. Robert through medicine and you in the military.

Thank you Chuck, by the way, for your service in the military. And thank you for sharing your story of your friend, Bob!

I would like to converse with you a little more since you obviously knew Bob a lot more recently and maybe even longer than me. Bob and I were so close during and shortly after college.

I just want to learn more about him. I was so looking forward to reconnecting. This has hit me hard.

Hello Chuck,

I never had the honor of meeting Robert Keller as I learned about him through MaxGXL, the glutathione enhancing product he formulated and Max International, the company that markets the MaxGXL.

Dr. Keller spoke on a conference call the 1st Saturday of every month. For a year and a half I had the privilege of hearing him speak about glutathione and what it means to our health and how he came to formulate MaxGXL.

I looked forward to those calls, as he was a true genius and an inspiration. He truly cared about the health of people! His passion for glutathione and MaxGXL was evident to all who heard him speak on those calls or saw him speak on the recorded interviews. Here is one of my favorite videos of Dr. Keller.

I was looking forward to meeting him at the Max International convention in Salt Lake City, Utah in September 2008.

However, shortly before that, in the Summer of 2008, he fell ill. Much to the disappointment of many, he was unable to attend the convention. He passed away the following Summer of 2009.

I was very saddened to learn of his passing. He did so much to improve the health of so many. He made a difference in this world, a difference that in many ways is just beginning.

I cried in disbelief at the loss of Dr. Keller. I felt sad that I would never get to meet him or hear him speak again. I wrote a tribute to him here.

I am sorry, Chuck, for the loss of your friend. The timing, I know is hard as you had recently reconnected and then soon after he passed away. I understand you want to learn more about him and who he was recently.
