N-Acetyl-Cysteine

N-Acetyl-Cysteine (NAC) is a sulfur-bearing amino acid that is a water soluble form of the amino acid L-Cysteine (Cysteine).

NAC is much more easily absorbed by the human body than cysteine, YET, when it NAC gets into our system, our body easily converts the N-AcetylCysteine into Cysteine!

Cysteine is one of the three primary glutathione precursors used by the body to manufacture glutathione (GSH).
