Vitamin C

Vitamin C (as Calcium Ascorbate USP) -
250 mg
(417% recommended Daily Value) - Calcium Ascorbate is a mineral salt of Vitamin C. It is 80% Vitamin C and 20% calcium. Ascorbates are less acidic than other types of vitamin C and provide better absorption than ascorbic acid alone.

It protects the body from toxins and acts as an immune builder and as an antioxidant. It is essential for growth and repair of tissues. It helps your body to cope with physical and mental stress.

Calcium Ascorbate

Calcium Ascorbate produces the frequency necessary to activate protease thus becoming a key component to proper protein digestion as well.

Calcium Ascorbate also maximizes NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine) absorption and helps protect existing glutathione stores.

L-Glutamine - 750 mg - L-glutamine has the ability to penetrate the so-called blood-brain barrier and is readily transformed into Glutamic Acid, which is essential for cerebral function.

In other words, this amino acid is used as brain fuel. L-glutamine is an essential dietary component which nourishes cells in the gastro-intestinal lining, liver and immune system. It also preserves liver glutathione after hepatic injury.

The most abundant of all of the amino acids found in the muscles of the body.

N Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) - 375 mg - N-acetylcysteine (NAC) is a sulfur-bearing amino acid that binds and removes mercury and other heavy metals from the body. N-Acetyl Cysteine breaks down toxic substances in liver.

Alpha Lipoic Acid

Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) - 75 mg - Alpha lipoic acid was only discovered in 1951. Alpha lipoic acid is a vital antioxidant that performs many important functions in the body.

Alpha Lipoic Acid increases the body's ability to use cysteine to manufacture glutathione. It also enables the key enzyme required for glutathione synthesis to work at optimal conditions, and induces an increase in intracellular Glutathione (GSH).

And 488 mg of the following Proprietary GSH Absorption and Recycling Blend:

Cordyceps - Cordyceps functions as an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent. It has also been shown to increase liver energy and glutathione synthesis. In MaxGXL, however, its primary function is to reduce inflammation and free radicals by decreasing the thermostat for inflammation called nuclear factor kappa beta.

N-acetyl D-glucosamine - N-acetyl-D-glucosamine (NAG) is a key precursor in the biosynthesis of mucosal glycoproteins. It protects the underlying tissues from enzymes, acids and bacteria while providing a surface to absorb nutrients.

QuercetinQuercetin - Quercetin plays a critical role in regenerating glutathione and helps to eliminate toxic compounds found in the liver.

Quercetin is a well-known flavonoid. Flavonoids are powerful antioxidants and can reduce inflammation boost the immune system and strengthen blood vessels and improve circulation. Quercetin is also known for its ability to block the release of histamines, thus reducing or preventing allergy symptoms.

Milk Thistle

Milk Thistle Extract (Silybum Marianum) 80% Silymarin - A powerful liver protector and detoxifier. One of the active phytochemicals called Sylimarin prevents free radical damage in the liver and kidneys. It also stimulates new liver cells and is an excellent immune system builder.

Milk thistle has been used medicinally for over 2,000 years, most commonly for the treatment of liver and gallbladder disorders.

Silymarin is a mixture of at least 4 flavonolignans. The terms "milk thistle" and "silymarin" are often used interchangeably.
